Vannamei - Meat

Vannamei Prawn Meat are produced from
whole prawns with all the shell removed. They are either farmed or sea caught (Salt Water).

Vannamei prawns have a similar texture and flavour to White Tiger and have a more uniform grey colour when raw. Also turn red when cooked.

A number of species are caught in Salt Water,
by trawlers with nets, and all are included in this general descriptive category. These species include Ocean Black Tiger, White Tiger, Flower, and Pink Tiger.
